About Sunrise Donut Café

Our family has a bit of a vacation tradition. We’ve visited the same place in Florida on a few occasions and on at least one day of each trip, Daddy will wake up the kids before sunrise to go hunt for sand dollars on the beach. And sometimes Mama comes too. Afterward, we always stop at the local donut shop. These are some of our family’s very best morning memories. We've always looked forward to these mornings together.

In 2020, Daddy & Mama (aka Kevin & Kelsey) walked by a building for sale on the historic Square in Monroe and joked about buying it and starting a donut café. The joking quickly turned more and more serious. We loved the idea of rehabbing the building and creating a new place in our own community that would foster some great relationships and memories around some great food and drink.

We believe we have some of the best coffee and donuts around - and now breakfast and lunch sandwiches too - served by some of the best staff around in order to build just that sort of atmosphere.
